GCG Assesment

The development and application of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to improve business success and accountability in the long term, which is expected to increase the value of the company performance improvement and good corporate image creation. Assessment of the implementation of GCG in PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali in 2018 was carried out to obtain an overview of GCG implementation associated with applicable provisions and best practices for implementing GCG, so that areas that needed repairs / improvements could be identified. It is necessary to explain that the assessment of the implementation of GCG is not intended to compare the implementation of GCG practices between corporate organs, namely the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners, and between them with the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) /Shareholders. each of the company’s organs is measured by its own criteria in accordance with the best or ideal structure and process as stated in the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation Number PER / 01 / MBU / 2011 dated August 1, 2011 and June 6, 2012 concerning Assessment and Evaluation Indicators / Parameters Implementation of Good Corporate Governance in State-Owned Enterprises. Based on the assessment of the implementation of GCG practices that have been done by BPKP, concluded that the conditions of GCG Implementation at PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali achieved the title of “Very Good” with a score of 94,171.
